She married a new man while  pregnant!

This comes to you as true story! Read it and draw lessons about relationships.

Sometime ago, there was a lady and gentle man who got interested in each other. Before they made thorough decisions, they started happening together. It was not long from that, that the lady conceived. She informed the man, who chose to run away on receiving the news and was not seen for a number of years from that time.

The pregnancy she carried had twin children, a boy and a girl. With that disappointment from the man, she hooked up with a new man who didn’t know her pregnancy status. With this new man they stayed until she produced. Their culture gives special names to the father and mother of twins. The father is referred to as ‘’Salongo’’ and the mum- ‘’Nalongo’’. The man was so happy to be given the title of Salongo.

Following the twins, she produces other children, now for the new husband and the family moved on fairly well. After eight years had passed, the first man (father to the twins) came back and demanded for his children. He told the woman that he wanted his children in all ways at whatever cost. The woman gathered courage after sometime and informed her husband about it. The Salongo rejected her request and he said he would never give away those children as it would put his name and family to shame.

After a few months the twin-boy got a sickness and he died. He was buried on Salongo’s family cemetery.  When the burial was done and a few months had passed, the real father came again to the woman and badly demanded for his remaining child (twin-girl).

In confusion of what to do, the woman got the girl and gave it to the real father in absence of Salongo. In the evening time when Salongo returned home, after having supper, he noticed that one girl child was missing. He asked for where she was and the sisters who had remained told him that the girl (twin) had been taken away by her father.

 The fate of the family

Salongo was very furious about it and in a few days after the incidence, he left the home. Today, Nalongo- the mother to the children was left home and her marriage is no more. The true father to the twins is also demanding that the body of the dead twin be excavated from where it was buried to where his graveyard is. However, in trying to do this he fears the relatives of the man who took care of the twins, pregnancy and cared for them when they were born.

What should the three parties in the game do? Nalongo has now to carry the responsibility of all the children; Salongo has abandoned the home; the x-man is demanding the body of the dead boy.
