Ladies and gentlemen,
in loving relationships, this time I wish to bring you a lesson about pregnant
women who we sometimes call expectant mothers.
For a man to have a baby there must be a woman and this same
thing applies to the women. The two therefore need to take the responsibility
of the pregnancy once it is detected to be there. By the way you have to
prepare yourselves before the pregnancy even comes. Lovers please take a
serious study about this.
The baby who forms in the woman’s womb scientifically is
like a foreign body. The woman’s body treats it the same way as a foreign
organism which causes disease. So her body happens to fight the growing fetus.
The good news is that naturally the immunity of women gets suppressed so that
it doesn’t fight the growing fetus. This is what helps mothers to carry the
pregnancies up to the nine (9) months when they give birth.
However, the immunity suppression comes with its own
challenges: it exposes the woman to the risk of disease. When a few disease
germs get into her body, she is not able to resist them because her immunity is
low. For this reason, many times pregnant mothers fall sick. Men should learn
this to provide the necessary help.
The other issue is that pregnant mothers need more food,
especially proteins; the proteins are useful for the building of the baby’s
body. The vitamins in fruits and vegetables help to maintain good health.
What about mineral salts! These are very important
especially, calcium and phosphorus for the strength of bones. The mineral salts
we consume in food are not permanently deposited in the bones. They can
dissolve out if there is a body part which needs them most. Thus during
pregnancy if a woman happens to lack in any of the essential minerals, they
move out of the bones into blood and then to the baby. This is the reason;
pregnant mothers feel pain in bones when they have lost the minerals to the
baby. But when they get the right diet such effects are minimized.
How about physical exercise! This is a very essential aspect
which should not be under looked. Women need physical exercise to build strong
body muscles. Women who do exercise are very strong and normally they have
normal births. This is the desire of most women. When you neglect physical
exercise, the body muscles happen to weaken. Physical exercises take different
forms but one can engage in those which are convenient. Those who fail to do exercise are simply cut
to remove the babies which again makes
their bodies much weaker.
Cleanliness is the other aspect we must address. When we are
clean we reduce the chances of catching disease. Since dirt contaminates our
environment by promoting the multiplication of germs, we should avoid it to
maintain good health.
Level of activity: men should learn it that carrying a
pregnancy is quite complex. Many changes occur in the woman’s body. The
pregnant mothers are not very strong as the non pregnant. Am not promoting
laziness in women but it is the fact. Men should thus come in to help, where
these women are carrying.
During pregnancy, it is of great value to visit antenatal
clinics and hospitals to monitor the progress of the baby and the health of the
mother. Do so at least four (4) times during pregnancy. We do so to help protect the two from the
risks of death.
At the time of giving birth, mothers should have the care of
a medical worker. Giving birth is the most difficult or dangerous moment in the
whole period of pregnancy. Sometimes normal delivery fails, putting the mother
and baby’s health at risk. This is why medical attention is very necessary to
help as soon as danger is detected.
