Most newlyweds are eager to go relax after the many hustles
of preparing the wedding day. They bother a lot to find a visa and other travel
documents so that they hold a memorable honey moon. However, you can make a
memorable honey moon at home. Here is the way to plan a romantic, home based
honeymoon! Read on.
Get off line
Just as you wouldn’t spend two weeks in Paris or Zanzibar in
an internet café browsing, similarly do not pay attention to the emails and voicemails
during your stay at home honey moon. The
number one rule to guide you is no cell phones, no computers. Tell the
people you will be travelling abroad so they won’t show up at your door.
Order in or eat out
To further make it different from the normal home routine,
let someone else do the work of feeding the two of you. Eat out at very meal,
order in or prepare a bunch of food ahead of time. If a nearby
bed-and-breakfast is within your budget, go there for a night or several.
Create a honeymoon
suite
Flowers, candy, scents, and candles are some of the few
things you can use to add romance to your marital home. Instead of the usual
light bulbs, use candles to give your bed room a romantic feel. Coated bulbs
also do well in your bed room for a special light setting.
Write love notes/messages on small paper pieces expressing
how much you love each other placing them where they can easily be seen, say
under the pillow, under their toothbrush or on the bedroom walls. Have nice drinks, fruits, ice cream, candy
and whatever your heart’s desire.
Take pictures of
yourselves
You may capture a variety of images and record videos of
yourselves just as you would on a typical honeymoon to create real lasting
memories of your special time together. Everyone always has elaborate wedding
photos. Make your honeymoon photos just as special.
Make a movie, be a star not a sex tape so to say but the
highlights of your great moments.
Let loose your inner
child
Rediscover your inner child. Play games like hide-and go
seek.
Focus on each other
Living happily ever after together will take some getting
used to, so take time to decompress and adjust to your new roles as partners. This
is also an ideal time to focus on your new life together. Use this time about
living together and make plans for the future including children. Getting to
know your partner’s wishes helps the two of you to plan better.
That is the suggestion I have for you friends. Do not be burdened
with honeymoon issues in case you do not have much financial resources. There
is always a way out for you. You can give this idea to a friend who may be in
this honeymoon confusion.
